    {Lost or Stolen Packages}
    Please be sure that your receiving location is secure. It is the buyer's responsibility to provide a secure location for receiving packages. USPS, UPS and FedEx insurance do NOT cover theft once your package has been marked as delivered by USPS, UPS or FedEx tracking. If a Porch Pirate makes off with your package it won't be covered by shipping insurance, You will need to file under your home owner's or renter's insurance and file a police report. If your receiving location isn't secure you should consider using a package receiving company like Mailboxes etc. UPS and FedEx also allows you to direct a package to one of their locations. If a package is stolen or otherwise disappears after delivery, it is the customer's responsibility to contact their local Post Office, as customer can provide more information about demographics than I can. PACKAGES MARKED DELIVERED WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.

    {Incorrect Shipping Addresses}
    If you provided an incorrect address, you will be responsible for re-shipping cost or I will refund the item amount (shipping is not refundable). Orders will not be refunded until the item(s) are returned.

    {Return Policy}
    Returns accepted within 7 days of USPS delivery to customer UNWORN/UNUSED BY CUSTOMER WITH STORE TAG ATTACHED, AND IN THE ORIGINAL CONDITION THAT IT WAS SENT TO CUSTOMER. I try to disclose all of the flaws I notice but sometimes small flaws will go under the radar (hey, I'm human!). Vintage means pre-loved so please keep that in mind. Occasionally, items may be vintage but have never been worn/used (such as Deadstock items), this will be disclosed in the listing, and the item may need to be worn/used or washed to "break them in".

    *For items that do not fit:
    I work hard to measure my items accurately (laying flat in inches). If you are unsure about the fit please send me a message so I can give you more information. I am happy to help you find the perfect fit! If you receive an item and it just didn't work out, please see below for return information.

    *Color variations/computer screens:
    Please note that colors will appear differently on computer screens, based on settings and calibrations. Some colors are very difficult to capture on film, but I do my best to show the color and describe it.


    The Spider's Web Vintage is confident that you will be delighted with your purchase. Please be sure to choose your item carefully, using my measurements and sizing guides for reference. However, if I made an error in my listing or you are unhappy, I will happily accept a return:

    1. If you wish to return an item and/or I have made an error in the listing, please contact me within 7 days of delivery, via Etsy Convo, to request a return. Please let me know the following:
    Your name
    Your address
    Item description
    Invoice #
    Description of error/reason for return


    If your item is "Dead Stock" and listed that the original garment tag is still attached, this tag must ALSO be attached. If original garment tag on a dead stock item is removed, ABSOLUTELY NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN.

    2. Returned items must be sent via Priority Mail or your local overseas recorded delivery postal service. Items must be in the exact condition as sent. If items are not post marked and returned within the 7 day time frame and in the exact condition as sent then no refund will be given.

    3. If the customer, for whatever reason without exception, misses delivery of the item, then it is the sole responsibility of the customer to arrange redelivery, and the 7 day returns period still applies from the date of attempted delivery and the date of any card left by Priority Mail or any overseas or local postal service. If in the event that a customer fails to collect their parcel from Priority Mail or any overseas or local postal service and the parcel is returned to The Spider's Web Vintage, it is the responsibility of the customer to request that we re-send the parcel. In this instance there will be a $5 administration fee and the customer must pay the incurred postage costs.

    4. The Spider's Web Vintage does not accept liability for any damages during return transit. Our customers are responsible for adequately wrapping and insuring any returned items, and sending them back by Priority Mail Recorded delivery.

    5. The Spider's Web Vintage reserves the right to refuse refunds on any items they believe to have obviously been worn, damaged, or had the tag tampered with or removed since dispatch from The Spider's Web Vintage. In this circumstance, items will either be returned to the customer without refund, or a partial refund may be given less our cleaning and mending costs.

    6. Return postage costs must be paid for by the customer. ALL SHIPPING COSTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE (original shipping/return shipping).

    7. Any orders made which are sent out by requested special/next day delivery are subject to a 12 hour window where the customer must notify us if the item(s) were misrepresented in some way, or arrived damaged. This is to protect The Spider's Web Vintage from customers wearing an item and then returning it. Any items you need to return must be posted back to us by recorded first class delivery within 24 hours. Customers must notify us by email of the errors within 12 hours of receipt of goods.

    8. Refunds will be re-deposited upon return of the item(s) into the corresponding PayPal / Credit Card account that was originally used for payment (excludes shipping).

    {Damaged items in shipping}
    If your item arrives damaged, please contact me as soon as possible within 7 days of delivery and provide photos of the damaged items. I will help you file an insurance claim with the carrier. In some cases, you may be required to take the package to the post office for inspection. If the post office assumes responsibility for the damage, they will then work with you for reimbursement. If they see that the box is undamaged, they will most likely deny the claim. In this case, please contact me as soon as possible and I will start the refund process.

    {Shipping Info}
    Items will be shipped out within 3 to 5 business days unless otherwise noted. I am unable to ship immediately due to a full time job outside of my home/business.

    If you need something ASAP or rushed, please SEND ME A CONVO (sometimes I don't see the "note to seller" until a day later) to let me know and I will send your item out first thing the next day. Please do not purchase an item that you need Express without upgrading the shipping to Priority Express. Orders will be cancelled and you will need to re-purchase the item(s) with the upgraded shipping.

    Most items ship through USPS via Priority Mail or First Class, depending on the weight and which option you choose at checkout. Items under 15 oz. with free shipping will always ship out First Class, unless you upgrade to Priority shipping in checkout.

    For multiple-item orders, I combine shipping, and will refund the shipping overages that are equal to $3 or more.

    There is an additional $2.50 charge for International Orders who choose First Class International, to insure the package for Registered mail for tracking purposes. International buyers are responsible for any and all Customs Charges, Taxes, and Additional Postage Fees. The Spider's Web is not responsible for lost items shipped internationally. Items will ship out within 3 to 5 business days unless otherwise noted; arrival times may be severely delayed due to COVID-19 and the backlog of mail carriers - I have no control over this and will not refund for an item that is delayed. It is the buyer's responsibility to contact their local postal carrier for packages that are in transit in their respective country.

    Please allow for one month (30 days) to elapse before contacting the shop about "no show" packages. 99% of the time that package is still en route!

    Italian buyers: Italian mail is notoriously slow with US packages. Please be patient!

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Can I see the item modeled on a live person?

    I currently do not have a live model, as it is very expensive and time consuming. At the present time, I cannot provide live modeled item photos.

    How do I know if an item will fit?

    Vintage items are tough when it comes to today's modern size standards. So every effort is made to measure each item accurately- never go completely by "tag size" or "fits like".

    Bust, waist and hip measurements are done with the item laying flat. For instance, if I've listed the bust measurement as 16 inches, you would then double that number (32 inches).

    If you're not sure, measure something at home that is similar in both shape (dress, blouse, etc) and material (denim, cotton, etc). Take into account if there is any stretch to it. This will help you determine if the item will fit.

    Shipping Information

    All items are shipped out within 3-5 business days from purchase.

    We use USPS to ship all orders, and a tracking number is always provided in your order information.

    It is up to the buyer to track your item's delivery- once an item is shipped, we are not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen items; additionally we are not responsible for packages delayed in transit. Please ensure the delivery address is correct, especially if the item is being sent to someone as a gift.

    If you receive an item that has been damaged during transit, please contact us immediately to start an insurance claim. As part of the process, you may be asked to take pictures of the package and/or damaged items.

    My package shows as delivered but I can't find it.

    {Lost or Stolen Packages}
    The Spider's Web Vintage is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Please contact your mail carrier and/or local post office for information on missing packages. If a package shows as delivered, check with neighbors/building staff; ask the post office/mail carrier for GPS coordinates. If you suspect a package has been stolen, you will need to file a police report and make a claim with the mail carrier. Unfortunately, I cannot offer refunds or exchanges on lost or stolen items, or on packages that are delayed in transit. But I will help with a claim if I am able.

    Where is my package?

    The post office, along with other shipping platforms, are experiencing unprecedented delays due to Covid and lack of government funding. Your package may be late, even with priority mail service. Etsy sellers rely heavily on our postal system, so please have patience as we all feel the trickle down effect of the current postal situation.


    All items are vintage (20 or more years old) and will show signs of wear. I do my best to describe all items as accurately as possible, listing any major flaws that I can see. Please keep in mind always when buying vintage that it has been previously loved for a number of years making it perfectly imperfect and that's exactly why we love it so!

    Delayed/late packages

    When sizing, please refer to the actual measurements listed, as each brand can vary on measurements ratio to their brand size standards. Please note that each piece will fit an individual based off of their unique measurements, and will not fit identical to the mannequin.
